No HOV-Lane Privileges, But the Masses Choose Hybrids Anyway
I haven't heard much on this topic in a while, but the point is still worth making: hybrids don't need HOV-lane access to become wildly popular. Or at least the Prius doesn't. Buyers are lining up, sometimes paying premiums to jump ahead in line. Used are selling at higher prices than the list price for new. No, hybrids need no further legislative assistance at this time, thank you.
