Happy New Laws
I was just reminded that January 1 was also New Laws' Day. Newspapers have printed summaries of these laws, sometimes under to-the-point headlines like "What You Can't Do From This Day On" (Monterey Herald) and "Happy 2005--Now Stop That" (Sacramento Bee).
