My Kind Of Guy
People who run red lights or discard lighted cigarettes out their car windows deserve the kind of trouble this "jerk" gives them (as described in a San Jose Mercury News "Mr. Roadshow" column):
Q I sometimes walk at lunch and cross at Arques and Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale. It is typical for two to six cars to run the red light for the left turn. I frequently step out into the crosswalk when I get my walk signal, forcing the naughty cars to stop in the intersection. Of course, people in the other direction start honking at cars blocking the intersection, and I start walking reeeaaallly slow.
